The Spacelords announce ninth album 'Uranus Omnibus Sanctus' for September on Tonzonen Records

German psychedelic space rock trio The Spacelords have announced their ninth studio album, 'Uranus Omnibus Sanctus', for release on 18 September 2026 through Tonzonen Records with distribution by Cargo Records Germany. The announcement arrived with the title track's official video, which premiered on the Tonzonen Records YouTube channel on 30 July 2026.
The album was recorded by the core trio — Matthias "HAZI" Wettstein on guitar, Marcus "MUDGE" Schnitzler on drums, and Ekhard "AKEE" Kazmaier on bass — and features contributions from longtime collaborator Didi Holzner, whose organ textures drift through the band's hypnotic grooves, and producer Eroc, credited with co-authoring a new chapter in the group's self-styled "Stoner Sound Bible". The four-track record runs: 'Uranus Omnibus Sanctus', 'Survive To Win', 'Whales', and 'On The Verge Of Delirium'.
The Spacelords have built a reputation across Europe for instrumental space-rock that balances motorik discipline with expansive, effects-laden improvisation. On the evidence of the title track, the new album keeps that approach intact: a locked-in rhythm section anchors spiralling guitar lines and swirling organ, while the production favours weight and clarity over retro pastiche. Pre-orders for LP, CD and digital formats are open via the Tonzonen Records shop.
