The Obelisk premiered the four-track EP in full on 5 November. Recorded over a single weekend in May 2026 at Roth Händle Studio in Sollentuna with engineer Mattias Olsson, the 26-minute record moves between post-rock, drone, shoegaze, Scandinavian folk and psychedelia. The Stockholm band — Joakim Stefanides on guitars, Erik Sirelius on bass, Daniel Pettersson on drums and Erik Svallingson on synthesiser and percussion — wrote all four songs together. The track “Endless Summer” was shared in October as a first glimpse. The EP is digital-only. The band’s official YouTube channel pairs the release with the 2015 live performance “Rotvälta” from Landet in Stockholm.

The Philadelphia stoner/doom trio's version is a solo rendition featuring High Priestess Nighthawk on vocals, keys and cello. The ten-track record arrives ahead of a short November Texas tour and follows the singles "Pony Up," "Kingdoms" and "Would It Kill You," each accompanied by an official music video. Vocalist Justin "Jutty" Taylor and drummer Hayden Scott previously played in the Swedish band Ghost, while guitarists Ross O'Carroll, Matt Ripp Bennett and Neil Popkin bring backgrounds in War Tapes and other projects. The album was produced by Tom Syrowski and recorded at his Los Angeles studio and at Henson Studios in Hollywood. Guest contributions include Brendan O'Brien on Hammond organ for the title track and Olivia Morreale on backing vocals. Drawing on shoegaze haze, '90s indie rock, dream-pop and psych-tinged atmospheres, Drink the Ocean is available for pre-order on Bandcamp, with a lavender vinyl exclusive and a CD edition also offered.

It's Psychedelic Baby Magazine reports that Galloni recorded the EP at home with a minimal setup, deliberately keeping early takes. He sings and plays synthesizers and drum machine, with Egan Rice on guitar and Matthew Noel on bass; Davide Cinci mixed the track and Daniel Eaton mastered it. Rough-edged indie guitars meet synthesizers and electronic drums — Mystic Sons places the sound between psychedelic pop and scrappy indie rock. A video for 'crashed out' is scheduled for 30 October. The single streams on Bandcamp, where the EP can be pre-ordered.

It is the Faenza-based group's first full-length since 2009's The Jellyfish is Dead and the Hurricane is Coming, ending a long quiet period interrupted only by a 2024 single. The 42-minute, nine-track record opens a two-album concept cycle: Bolide I & II covers earth and air, with Bolide III & IV to follow. The Obelisk premiered the video for "David vs. Goliath," which features vocals by Claudio Colaianni, who died in July 2025; the official video for "Poppy" is also from the album. Guest musicians contribute saxophone, synthesizer, organ and piano. The sound moves between desert rock, stoner weight and psychedelic texture.
