Valley Premiere Second EP Sky Burial, Out 6 November

Valley

Swedish instrumental quartet Valley release their second EP, Sky Burial, on 6 November 2026, eleven years after the 2015 debut Sunburst. The Obelisk premiered the four-track EP in full on 5 November. Recorded over a single weekend in May 2026 at Roth Händle Studio in Sollentuna with engineer Mattias Olsson, the 26-minute record moves between post-rock, drone, shoegaze, Scandinavian folk and psychedelia. The Stockholm band — Joakim Stefanides on guitars, Erik Sirelius on bass, Daniel Pettersson on drums and Erik Svallingson on synthesiser and percussion — wrote all four songs together. The track “Endless Summer” was shared in October as a first glimpse. The EP is digital-only. The band’s official YouTube channel pairs the release with the 2015 live performance “Rotvälta” from Landet in Stockholm.
