Virginia Beach psychedelic trio Snake Mountain Revival have announced their second album, The Divide, due 23 October via Ripple Music. The title track is streaming now as the first single.

The nine-track record follows their 2021 debut Everything Is Sight and was produced by the band. Ryan Chandler (vocals, bass), George Spellman (guitar) and Josh Woodhouse (drums) blend modern psychedelia with surf-rock twang and folk-tinged passages, framing a darker lyrical core. Chandler describes the material as a reaction to personal turmoil and a society on fire, yet the songs also hold space for beauty and peace.
