From the archive: Japanese band OGRE YOU ASSHOLE's official video for 'Rope' (ロープ), originally released on their 2012 album *100 Years Later* (100年後) via VAP. The quartet from Nagano blends motorik-inflected indie rock with psychedelic textures and melancholic melodies, a sound that places them alongside peers like Minami Deutsch and Kikagaku Moyo in Japan's modern psych underground. This VAP-channel upload preserves the original 2012 promo clip directed by Yasuyuki Yamaguchi. An entry point to a band whose hypnotic grooves reward repeated listening.
