Moon Duo's 'Cold Fear' comes from Occult Architecture Vol. 1 (2017), released by Sacred Bones Records. The official video, directed with the band's characteristic blend of motorik rhythm and dark atmosphere, places the track's driving synth and guitar figures against a stark visual setting. Ripley Johnson and Sanae Yamada's project has long drawn on krautrock and psychedelic rock; this single shows that tension between repetition and melody. The video remains a concise example of the duo's mid-period sound.
