From the archive: Minami Deutsch perform live at Freak Valley Festival 2019. The Tokyo-based repetition freaks deliver a hypnotic set of motorik pulses, spacious guitars and locked-in krautrock repetition, recorded for the WDR Rockpalast broadcast. Minami Deutsch — now based between Tokyo and Berlin — remain one of Japan's clearest present-day voices in psychedelic and krautrock-inflected music. This curated footage is an archive selection for the Videos section, not a new release, and the exact performance date is not stated in the source.
