Tokyo's Minami Deutsch brought their motorik krautrock psychedelia to Austin Psych Fest on 27 April 2024, performing at the Far Out Lounge during their tour with Earthless. The band — Kyotaro Miula (guitar, vocals), Taku Nakahara (bass) and Akira Tsukuda (drums) — builds hypnotic, repetitive grooves in the lineage of Can and NEU!, layered with fuzz-drenched guitar freak-outs and minimalist synth textures. This full-set capture by Daniel Kirby documents a 48-minute journey through their catalog, from the metronomic drive of 'Futsu ni Ikirenai' to the expansive jams that have made them a festival favourite. An essential live document for fans of Japanese psychedelic rock and kosmische musik.
