Japanese krautrock quartet Minami Deutsch performed a full set at Berlin's Astra Kulturhaus on 26 April 2025, supporting Blood Incantation on their Absolute Elsewhere tour. The concert, filmed by Berlin Concert Connoisseur, captures the band's motorik-driven psychedelic sound in a complete 70-minute performance. Founded in Tokyo in 2014 by guitarist/vocalist Kyotaro Miura, Minami Deutsch — the name translates as 'South German' — draw on Neu! and Can's repetitive pulse while adding their own fuzz-laden heaviness. This recording documents a band at the height of their live powers, moving from the hypnotic 'Futsu Ni Ikirenai' through extended improvisations. An essential watch for anyone tracking the modern Japanese psych-kraut underground.
