Japanese trio maya ongaku released the official video for "Astral Echoes" on 28 June 2026 via their YouTube channel. The track is the lead single from their second album Nothing Space Music, digitally released 7 August 2026 on Guruguru Brain and Bayon Production. Directed by Ryotaro Eguchi, who also handles live VJ duties for the band, the clip captures flowers unfolding from buds in film-like textures, echoing the track's unhurried, synth-laced psychedelic folk. The band — Tsutomu Sonoda (guitar, vocals, synths), Ryota Takano (bass, rhythm machine) and Shoei Ikeda (Rhodes, clarinet, synths) — recorded the album at their own Nothing Space Studio near a seaside shrine in Enoshima. Nothing Space Music marks a turn toward silence and attentive listening after years of international touring.
