Masaki Batoh, founder and constant member of Japanese psychedelic collective Ghost, released the official video for "Tower of the Silence" in February 2019 via Drag City Records. The track appears on his solo album Nowhere, which continues the meditative, folk-inflected psychedelia that has defined Ghost since their 1990 debut. Batoh's work — spanning Ghost's minimalist drones, free-folk incantations and the Taj Mahal Travellers lineage — remains a touchstone of Japanese experimental music. The video, directed by Aimaiworks / Tomoco Nakatsuka, visually echoes the music's quiet intensity. Selected for the Videos section as an official label video from a seminal figure in Japanese psychedelic folk and rock.
