Pan-continental instrumental group Los Bitchos have announced their third album, Los Bitchos & Friends Vol 1, due 13 November via P-VINE as a Japanese domestic CD (PCD-26167). The nine-track set opens the London trio's sound to a cast of guest vocalists for the first time: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard's Ambrose Kenny-Smith appears on the fuzz-driven 'Holding Cell', Black Pumas' Adrian Quesada and Sudanese-American artist Sinkane reshape 'Hang Up (Pt 2)', Turkish duo Kit Sebastian sing in their native language on 'El Pençe', and Peruvian-influenced New York collective Chicha Libre join on 'Conexiones'.

The band — guitarist Serra Petale, bassist Josefine Jonsson, drummer Nic Crawshaw — describe the record as a celebration of shared humanity where cultures meet and dance rather than clash. P-VINE's announcement highlights the 'psychedelic floating feeling' running through the cumbia rhythms, surf-rock guitar and Latin percussion. The first single 'Holding Cell' arrived with an official video directed by Callum Baker. Los Bitchos have toured with King Gizzard and played Coachella, Glastonbury and Primavera Sound; this album was co-produced by Petale and recorded at 5db Studios in London with mixing by Danny Reisch and mastering by Katie Tavini.
