Kumoyo Island (2022), the fifth and final studio album by Tokyo psych band Kikagaku Moyo, streams in full on the group's official YouTube channel. The album came out in May 2022 on Guruguru Brain and closes out the band's active years, 2012 to 2022, when Kikagaku Moyo blended psychedelic rock with folk, progressive rock and krautrock. The group disbanded in 2022, so this is a curated archive selection from the artist's own channel, not a new release. Japanese psychedelia remains part of this site's coverage; age and view count do not make an archive selection less relevant.
