Scottish-born songwriter John Mason has shared the official video for “Brighter”, the new single out 5 November 2026 from his forthcoming album The United Escapades of John Mason. The eight-track album was recorded over nine days at Record Plant in Sausalito, California, with Paul Brisske of That Kid Is You producing — Mason’s first full-length with a dedicated producer. “Brighter” is about friendship and standing by others without trying to change them, Mason says: an ode to brotherhood. It's Psychedelic Baby Magazine premiered the video on 4 November, a day ahead of the single's release. Mason plays California dates in late November and December, including an album-launch show at 2200 Studios in Sausalito on 4 December. Report based on It's Psychedelic Baby Magazine and John Mason's official site.
