Go Kurosawa — drummer and vocalist of Kikagaku Moyo and co-founder of Tokyo's Guruguru Brain label — performs live on KEXP. The session features songs from his debut solo album 'soft shakes', recorded alone in Rotterdam and built around guitar, bass, keys, clarinet, trumpet, drums and piano. Kurosawa, now based in Fukuoka, describes the record as closing one chapter and opening another. The original performance date is unknown; this is an archive selection from KEXP's official channel, chosen for its relevance to the Japanese psychedelic scene.
