San Diego heavy-psych trio Earthless released their new album Black Heaven via Nuclear Blast in 2025. The official video for lead single "Volt Rush" — directed with grainy VHS aesthetics and desert-road imagery — captures the band's signature blend of motorik propulsion, fuzz-soaked guitar explorations and hypnotic space-rock drift. Isaiah Mitchell's guitar rides a relentless groove while Mike Eginton's bass and Mario Rubalcaba's drums lock into a telepathic interplay that has defined the group since their 2001 formation. The video, premiered on the Nuclear Blast Records channel, serves as a vivid entry point to Black Heaven's six expansive tracks. For listeners new to Earthless, this is the sound of Californian desert psych at its most focused and expansive.
