Cluster

Cluster’s 1974 album Zuckerzeit marked the German duo’s turn from abrasive kosmische jams toward crisp, drum-machine-driven electronic pop. "Hollywood", composed by Hans-Joachim Roedelius, rides a buoyant preset rhythm while woozy Farfisa melodies drift above — playful, skewed, and unmistakably Cluster. The track appears on the official Bureau B YouTube channel, which curates the band’s Brain/Sky catalogue. A watershed moment for krautrock’s pop-adjacent side, Zuckerzeit was co-produced by Michael Rother (Neu!, Harmonia) and later ranked by Pitchfork among the top 100 albums of the 1970s. This is the original 1974 recording, not a reissue.
