Motorik Road Trip announce second album Perceptions from a Dark Earth

Bristol instrumental trio Motorik Road Trip have announced their second album, Perceptions from a Dark Earth, due 27 November 2026 via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. The eight-track, 44-minute set follows their 2025 debut V and expands the band’s fully instrumental blend of crushing stoner riffs, hypnotic motorik grooves and psychedelic exploration. Lead single “Xenolith” is accompanied by an official video; the track highlights the record’s mix of heavy riff-driven sections and Eastern-tinged melodies. Recorded at Axe & Trap Studios in Somerset during summer 2025, the album was developed over six months. Themes range from organised mind control and acoustic levitation to transcendental interplanetary occultations. The lineup remains Jason Tovey (bass), Ben Garner (guitar) and Nat White (drums).
