Cathedral’s ninth album The Guessing Game is being reissued as The Guessing Game (Rethink) on 30 October 2026 through Rise Above Records. Originally released in 2010 on Nuclear Blast, the Coventry band’s record has been remixed from the original master tapes by longtime collaborator Jaime Gomez Arellano, with alternate takes and extended versions across 5 sides of vinyl. Rise Above Records shared the official video for the remixed “Death Of An Anarchist”. Echoes And Dust’s Zachary Nathanson calls the 2010 original “arguably one of the band’s finest releases of the early 2010s” and describes the new mix as rawer and more powerful. Cathedral split in 2013, so the reissue returns the overlooked album to print almost 16 years later.
