Toronto trio Blue Herring have released their self-titled debut album through Wake Robin Records. The ten-track record came out digitally on 16 October 2026, with a limited run of 100 hand-stamped CDs shipping around the same date. Eloise Harrington plays bass and vocals, Owen Lewthwaite guitar and Jack McCartney drums; Callum Foxcroft produced, mixed and mastered the album. The music mixes garage rock, psychedelia, blues and folk-rock, opening with the fast 'Gears' and closing with the slower folk-rock 'Depend On'. The members met while studying music production in London, Ontario, and share an affinity for Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan. It's Psychedelic Baby Magazine reported the release on 19 October. The album is on Bandcamp, and 'Roach Magnet' is available as an official track video.
