Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. ↗
From the Archives: Acid Mothers Temple @ Musica Japonica vol.1

Archival pick for the video vault: the first of three no-audience live streams Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. performed at Musica Japonica in Osaka during July 2020. The band — Kawabata Makoto (guitar, electronics), Higashi Hiroshi (synthesizer), Jyonson Tsu (voice, guitar, bouzouki), Satoshima Nani (drums) and Sawano Shozo (bass) — delivered a sprawling set of acid-drenched improvisation, motorik repetition and cosmic synthesis from their legendary venue. The stream was part of the group's 'Autumn Mass Release Festival' on their official YouTube channel, where they uploaded full concerts and rare recordings. Musica Japonica has been a spiritual home for the collective since the 1990s, and this empty-room performance captures the raw, immersive energy of Japanese psychedelic rock's most enduring cult act.
