Archival selection for the Japanese psychedelic rock canon: a full live performance by Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. at the Grog Shop in Cleveland, recorded on 16 October 2024 during their US tour. The video, uploaded to the RXRE ARCHIVES channel, captures the collective's signature blend of acid-drenched improvisation, motorik rhythms and cosmic synthesis led by Kawabata Makoto's soaring guitar. The line-up features Kawabata Makoto (guitar, electronics), Higashi Hiroshi (synthesizer), Jyonson Tsu (voice, guitar, bouzouki), Satoshima Nani (drums) and Sawano Shozo (bass). This 2024 document adds to the extensive live archive of a group whose discography runs into the hundreds and whose influence on the modern Japanese psychedelic underground — spawning labels like Guruguru Brain and inspiring acts such as Kikagaku Moyo and Minami Deutsch — remains foundational. Original performance date: 16 October 2024.
