Tokyo-based psychedelic new wave pop art rock band Akaikurage shares the promo video for 'Sekira-ra', the title track of their 2018 debut album. Formed in 2014 by singer-guitarist Natsuki and bassist Matsuna, with drummer Shigeru joining in 2019, the trio blends powerful riffs, intense rhythm and eccentric vocals into a pop-shaped, punk-driven sound. Influences include The Who, Blankey Jet City and Jun Togawa. The video is uploaded by Gerpfast Records, the independent cassette label that issued the album's cassette edition.
