Tall Days return with Breakers, their first album in seven years

New Jersey duo Tall Days have released Breakers, their first full-length since 2019, on 29 September 2026. Graham Hartke and Joe DeAngelus recorded the ten-track set at their Snack Factory studio in Montclair between March 2024 and February 2026, keeping the core guitar-and-drums approach while adding saxophone, Hammond organ, recorder and extra percussion across several songs. Hartke describes the album as a collection of opposites: tracks born from frustration sit beside pieces written for his young daughter, and family members contribute backing vocals. Mixing was shared among Brent Kolatalo, Matt Maroulakos, Rubin Nizri and Hartke himself; Bill Skibbe mastered at Third Man Mastering. The advance single "Gaslight Bomb" has an official video directed by the band. Psychedelic Baby Magazine's Klemen Breznikar notes the record's rough-edged intensity and its debt to the New Jersey–New York corridor where Tall Days have played for years. The album is available digitally and on limited-edition vinyl via the band's Bandcamp.
