Swedish progressive rock veterans The Flower Kings have released the second single from their forthcoming album HOPE, due 23 October 2026 on InsideOut Music. The track, "The Gods of Rome, Pt. 2", is the second part of the album's nearly 29-minute centrepiece "The Gods of Rome" and follows the earlier single "World Spinning – The Final Curtain".

Roine Stolt describes the piece as a metaphor for modern-day power play set against the backdrop of ancient Rome: "Every nation and every leader wants to shine and be remembered as the greatest – expansive dreams often tend to implode, however." The album marks a return to side-long epics for the band, with two tracks exceeding 18 minutes. HOPE will be available as a limited CD+Blu-ray digipak featuring Dolby Atmos and 5.1 surround mixes by Rich Mouser, a first for the group, alongside standard CD, double LP and digital editions.

The official audio is streaming on the InsideOutMusicTV YouTube channel. On this evidence, the single continues The Flower Kings' blend of melodic symphonic prog and lyrical ambition that has defined their 37-year career.
