The Crystal Teardrop: Echoes and Dust reviews Love You More

Stoke-on-Trent psychedelic garage rockers The Crystal Teardrop released their second album Love You More on 2 October via Popclaw, the Rise Above Records sublabel. The twelve-track follow-up to 2025's The Crystal Teardrop Is Forming was recorded live in the studio with vintage sixties gear — Rickenbackers, Vox amps, Hammond organ — and adds Eastern instrumentation including tanpura and swarmandal.
Zachary Nathanson, reviewing for Echoes and Dust, calls it an adventurous, unpredictable record that moves from Byrdsian garage rock through raga-tinged drones to a seven-minute psychedelic trip on the closing 'Touch The Sun'. The single 'Tomorrow Starts Today', accompanied by a Lucy Craig-directed video, shows the band's garage-pop side, while 'Circumstances' drifts into sitar-driven meditation. Nathanson notes the album challenges expectations and rewards repeated listens. The band are touring the UK through November.
