Pharaoh Overlord announce new album 7 with first single Arms Of None

Finnish experimental rock duo Pharaoh Overlord have announced their new album 7, due 20 November 2026 via Rocket Recordings. The project of Jussi Lehtisalo and Tomi Leppänen — also the core of Circle — has spent five years shaping this record, their first since 2025's Louhi. For the first time they brought in an outside producer: Juho Vanhanen of Oranssi Pazuzu, with mixing by Niko Lehdontie.
The announcement arrives with the first single "Arms Of None" and its official video on the Rocket Recordings YouTube channel. The track features guest vocals from Aaron Turner (Sumac, Neurosis, Old Man Gloom) and Richard Dawson, the latter contributing a falsetto counterpoint to Turner's growl. The press material describes the album as synth-driven "death-metal hyperrock" polished to a "high-gloss mirror-shine", drawing comparisons to Justice's debut and Scott Walker's Drift-era atmospheres.
Lehtisalo calls 7 their "dream album": "This is, finally, the real Pharaoh Overlord. I can generate demos easily, but working with a producer, it's reached a destination we really wanted." The five-track tracklist runs Matriarch, Arms of None, The Man Laid Low, War of Habit, Under Distant Sun. Pre-orders for the limited 'Under a Distant Sun Yellow' vinyl and clear vinyl editions are open via the Rocket Recordings shop.
