Light Conductor — the Montréal psych-ambient synth-drone supergroup of Stephen Ramsay (Young Galaxy) and Jace Lasek and Olga Goreas (The Besnard Lakes) — has released Sequence Three, the third and final part of the trilogy begun in 2019. The album came out on 25 September 2026 on Constellation Records. In a new interview with Echoes and Dust, Ramsay describes their process-led method: instruments rigged in stations, sounds faded in and out, little editing, improvisations running from 20 minutes to an hour. Analogue synths — Prophet 600, Juno-60, Oberheim SEM-Pro, Prophet VS and Prophet 5 — anchor the sound; Olga Goreas plays bass and Monotron. The trio is now planning live shows for later in the year.
