King Buffalo Announce Doomsayer and Share "The Slick and the Dead"

King Buffalo have announced Doomsayer, due out on December 4. The Rochester trio have opened pre-orders on Bandcamp, where one song — "The Slick and the Dead" — is already streaming ahead of the full release.
The Bandcamp page lists seven tracks, from "Battling the Mystagogues" to the title piece, and credits the album as written and recorded by the band at KB Studios in Rochester, New York, in 2026. Sean Roa is listed for production, mixing and engineering; Bernie Matthews handled mastering, and See Machine created the artwork.
The announcement was also reported today by The Obelisk, which posted the release date and album details. For the heavy-psych and space-rock side of the current scene, this is a solid marker: a new studio record is now on the calendar, and the first preview is already out in public.
