Heavy Temple have released a cover of Type O Negative's «Love You to Death,» issued for Halloween and drawn from their October 2026 live album Live From the Inner Sanctum. The Philadelphia stoner/doom trio's version is a solo rendition featuring High Priestess Nighthawk on vocals, keys and cello. It offers a quieter, melodic take on the October Rust classic, with the heavy elements arriving in a different shape. The official video, made by Stretch Armsbong, accompanies the release. The cover is available on Bandcamp and streaming platforms. Heavy Temple previously covered the song in 2016, but this new take shows a different, more stripped-back side of the band. The Obelisk hosted the premiere.
