New York band GUHTS have released "Holy Hell," the first single from their second album, Duality Reality, due in 2027 on Silent Pendulum Records. The single and its official video arrived on 27 October 2026. The video, made by vocalist Amber Gardner, references the train-station scene in Andrzej Żuławski's 1981 film Possession and was filmed at Beacon station during rush hour.

GUHTS — Gardner with guitarist Scott Prater, bassist Daniel Martinez and drummer Aidan Schmid — signed to Silent Pendulum Records in June, after their 2024 debut Regeneration. "Holy Hell" was recorded and mixed by Andrew Schneider and mastered by Alan Douches; Gregory March played drums on the track. GUHTS play Lucky 13 Saloon in Brooklyn on 4 December.

This is an announcement, not a review: the site has not heard the new album. On this evidence, "Holy Hell" suggests a sludgy post-metal continuation of the sound from Regeneration, not a claim about the full record.
