Grand Rapids, Michigan stoner/doom band Ghost Pipe released the single 'Wanderer' on October 6, 2026 through Black Doomba Records, with an official video following on October 14. The track is taken from the group's upcoming album 'The Awakening', due November 20, 2026 on the same label.

The song draws on Norse mythology, casting Odin as a wandering figure moving through forests and mountains. Slow-burning riffs, echoing vocals and a steady rhythm carry the narrative; the chorus turns a verse from the Hávamál into a meditative, ritualistic passage. The lineup is Allen Milbourne (vocals, effects), Travis and Wyatt Federau (guitars), Georg Rumpf (bass, synth) and Simon Hill (drums).

Ghost Pipe formed in 2017 from members with backgrounds in death metal, experimental music and surf rock. Their early shows relied on improvised sets with liquid light projections. 'The Awakening' will be their second full-length and first for Black Doomba Records.
