French drum duo Club Cactus have released their new album '3' on 16 October 2026 through Sérotine Records. Anthony Laguerre and Jean-Michel Pirès are both drummers — Laguerre has played with Filiamotsa and Ravage, Pirès with NLF3 and Bruit Noir — and in Club Cactus they play face to face, each behind a drum kit. The 8 tracks combine relentless percussion, electronics, noise and guest voices, including Leïla Jiqqir and Etenesh Wassié, around the ideas of falling, rising and leaving. The lead track 'Ya Lil, Ya Sbleen', shared in September, features Arabic vocals by Jiqqir. The album streams on Bandcamp. It's Psychedelic Baby Magazine covered the release; the duo's stripped-back, drum-driven experimentalism sits in the wider psychedelic orbit.
