Japanese collective Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. have released In A Not C, the group's first proper LP for VHF. The album arrived on 4 September 2026 on clear vinyl and continues an occasional series of minimalist-inspired works. Rather than a static drone, the record builds from small repeating cells into multi-layered crescendos, with the current lineup — Kawabata Makoto, Higashi Hiroshi, Jyonson Tsu, Satoshima Nani and Sawano Shozo — weaving guitar, synth, voice and drums into a swirling psychedelic maelstrom. Recorded at the band's own studio in August 2025 and produced by Kawabata, the set is framed by Yoda Masaqui's artwork. A full stream is available on the label's Bandcamp; the archival video above documents the album.
